Blood Angel Dreadnoughts

Before the last big (7th edition) Apocalypse game I speed painted two Blood Angels Dreadnoughts. They're both fairly simple, but I'm pretty satisfied with the Furioso ("Fragioso") at least. I'm only now just getting around to pictures...

Here's the Death Company Dreadnought, I'm not as happy with the black armour on this guy, but the unpainted pile is too big to fuss now.

If I eventually go back to touch-up the black, I'll have to re-touch this guy as well... he's almost 10 years old now!

After I finish a few Death Korps of Krieg models I've got two more Dreadnoughts that I'd love to get on the table... some early WIP shots:

Thanks for looking!

Blood Angels Command...

I finally got around to finishing the Sanguinary Guard, making them a full 10-man unit, and with the leftover gold I decided to paint up a Blood Angels Command Squad. The Librarian showed up just for the photo.

I was a bit lazy with the gold this time around and skipped most of the previous shading and highlighting in favor of a more simple, zenithal highlighting approach using the airbrush. .

Some base-coating here...

And the final pictures; hopefully I'll have more photos from the battlefield soon!

Now on to the Red ones...

Some of my Blood Angels...

Here are a few pieces that I've painted over the last few years.  Dante has been repainted twice.  A good majority of my Blood Angels army really needs a paint update at this point.
